Cynthia (Cindy) Cleaver, CPA

Cindy has worked in the accounting field for over twenty years building a diverse work background in many different industries. After receiving her BS in Accounting from Central Michigan University, Cindy started her career in Detroit, MI working for the Wayne County Treasurer’s office as a Staff Accountant, managing several of the county’s bank accounts including their main disbursements and payroll accounts. She continued her diverse career working for: the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) as an Accountant in their local office; an electrical contractor as a project coordinator and budget manager; and a rock quarry as the Assistant to the Inventory Purchasing Manager.

In 2004, Cindy took her first position in public accounting and worked for a local CPA firm in Alabama doing monthly bookwork, payroll, and some audit field work. In 2010, Cindy and her husband moved to Clarksville after he left the Army. Cindy started immediately with a local, reputable Accounting firm as a staff accountant. There she continued with bookwork and payroll but quickly expanded her duties to financial statement reviews and tax preparation. Cindy now has ten years of experience with individual, partnership, and corporate taxes.

In 2014, she received her CPA license and two years later graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Phoenix earning an MBA with a concentration in Accounting in December 2016.

Cindy has been married for over twenty years, has two fur babies, is active with the church, and volunteered in middle school ministry for 13 years. She is currently a member of the Clarksville Networking Group where she serves on the board as their Treasurer. She also serves as the Treasurer for her church and a local non-profit, The Clarksville Covenant House.
